About NSSCA

The aim of the Northamptonshire Schools Sailing and Canoeing Association is to encourage sailing for Young People in Northamptonshire. The Association organises the Anglian Water Series which provides coaching and race training for young sailors.

Teams representing NSSCA are entered into various National Schools Sailing Association (NSSA) events, including match racing, team racing and annual championships.

Congratulations

Our Northamptonshire junior team had a fantastic weekend at the NSSA 2008 Team Racing Championships: Top Junior Team. They will now be going forward to represent NSSA at the RYA junior team racing championships in November. This repeats the success of 2006 although then, the RYA had to abandon their championships because of lack of wind; we hope our youngsters have better luck this year.

Congratulations to James Briggs, Richard Kelsall (both Banbury) and Natasha de la Fuente (Hollowell).
